This has been copied from the original Facebook page of The Gospel of Mary Magdalene from the Gnostic Bible because for some reason my original composition on Word alternative did not save. Also the emboldened sections did not save anyway on Facebook so had to repeat it in this copy.

The Savior said, “Matter gave birth to a passion that has no equal, which proceeded from something contrary to nature. Then there arises a disturbance in its whole body. That is why I said to you, be of good courage, and if you are discouraged be encouraged in the presence of the different forms of nature. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” (Mary 4:30-32)
Comment:
Robert Hole On first reading, I was going to ask how this passage can be interpreted. However on reading it again a few times more, it seems to portray something a little different from that expected.
”Matter gave birth to a passion that has no equal”: This could be interpreted as the passion from physical love, that which had been consumed by lust and perversions, the result of which God had regret about having created man. It is that which has taken priority over the spiritual nature of man which in its correct relationship with God would have been ‘very good’. This in turn then became turning away from God’s principles which was the true meaning of the fall. As such Jesus returned as the Second Adam to show the way back but it has been agreed that much of what he came to teach has been lost.
”which proceeded from something contrary to nature”: This statement follows and it seems to qualify the first part by stating that it is opposite to nature. Nature has been said to be following its purpose of Creation without contradiction, driven mostly by instinct. Mankind however was created as a higher being but who pre-existed in the spirit realm as soul bound together with its Soulmate and on incarnation separate as individuals who may do so in different geographical locations and who may or may not meet again on Earth and may not even in the Spirit World, governed by the level of love found through marriage while on Earth. The purpose of incarnation, which takes place only once, not to be confused with the concept of reincarnation, which is not a reality, is to mould the character and personality through life’s experienc which then remains with the person when they finally pass on to reside permanently in the realm of Spirit. This is why ‘matter’ gave birth to the Passion and why it is contrary to nature, or what was intended at the time of Creation.
”Then there arises a disturbance in its whole body.” This then can be regarded as the result and it also qualifies the two preceding statements and binds them together as a whole.
”That is why I said to you, be of good courage, and if you are discouraged be encouraged in the presence of the different forms of nature. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” (Mary 4:30-32) These words, I believe, pertain to the solution and just as there is more content involved as shown above, to the scant but very deep words, so there are also for the solution. The solution then is the restoration of mankind to a position before the fall and that is the starting point for development onward towards perfection in God’s Divine Love. http://www.thegenuinejesus.com/
The link to the genuine Jesus was added as an introduction in preference to that of divinelove.org because its introduction has changed from its perfectly suitable version as originally supplied but there is much deeper content available within its contents/ volumes that could be used as an in depth answer. It only had to be located.
In the meantime I came across some contemporary-messages from new-birth.net which include an explanation of how Jesus came to be born without original sin and this is in context to the comment made that Jesus represents the Second Adam. There is also a reference ti incarnation.
I was aware that it would not be out of place to speak about the emboldened points but as to the solution, this is a much more complex answer and as such would not like to take responsibility for any incompleteness or misrepresentation, even though not intended, of something which is so deep and important to convey in completeness and in original form or expression.
This is what was discovered while browsing this evening:
