The Mystery of Mary Magdalene Part 2

The Mystery of Mary Magdalene Continued

As a consequence of having watched the documentary based on Mary Magdalene I felt it necessary to try to seek more information as an affirmation. It wasn’t enough just to be impressed by a series of timely coincidences and so naturally I wanted to find out more. There were questions also from the documentary such as what chances were there of Mary Magdalene having red hair in first century Israel? Of course Magdala which is said to be where Mary is from is a trading port with the accompanying conditions of people from far off lands coming and going,  so could it be this influence on Mary’s Genes in a population which is predominantly dark haired? The Documentary talks about Mary fleeing to Southern France and teaching there from a cave for 30 years. If so would there not be any manuscripts of such activity? Also the skull purported to be Mary’s have no teeth, unfortunately because modern forensic technology would have been able to discover where the owner of the skull had resided in early life. It is quite possible that the teeth are missing because of the value that pilgrims had put on relics and as such may have been removed for that reason, but it does not help us in this day and age where real tangible information is sought.

The first source to go to was the writings of the True Gospel Revealed Anew by Jesus. And as far as I was able to ascertain there was no mention of her whatsoever. However I did come across a blog which was purporting to contain comments from Jesus and Mary Magdalene which came across as a critique of the Padgett writings and some of the comments there were in effect contradictory to what had been explained by Jesus and the Celestial Spirits in the messages received by Padgett. Therefore, although some things were an interesting insight, because all spiritual realms are different and the expression also can be varied , there were key points about the path to salvation which gave the initial impression that the claimed spirits of the said Jesus and Mary Magdalene were impostors.

The link will not be provided in this case because without having read the Padgett writings people will believe some of the contradictory content of this version of the Jesus and Mary comments to be true. Therefore, for myself this is a bit of a stick out the neck, head above the parapet moment which can be dangerous because of the responsibility inherently attached to making a such a comment.

Quote from the blog: Mary Magdalene and Jesus’ Comments on the Padgett Messages.

[Quote] Mary and Jesus, It’s been playing on my mind for some time, so I feel, somewhat reluctantly and feeling very daunted by the task, to write your comments on the Padgett messages – that of course is assuming that you would like to give them.
My reluctance at undertaking such a task is that there are a lot of messages, of which I have little interest in, having already written much about them with you both, so going back over with what you’ve both said does not thrill me too much. However having expressed a little of my negative feeling about it, I also feel that it is a valuable piece of work, helping to bridge the Padgett messages with my work, something that I feel needs to be done so as not to have them as this separate thing which people can become fixated on believing that all one needs is the Padgett messages to advance ones soul- which is untrue.
So I will act on my feelings and begin. As to whether or not I complete the task, time will tell, and if I do, it will be because sufficient inspiration and feeling has been present to do so.
I also assume that if you agree on doing it, then it wont be an imposition on you and you wont mind if I look at it as something of a long term project, to do when I have other subjects I’d prefer to write about. [Unquote]

SO WE ALREADY HAVE A MINDSET WHICH IS GOING TO HAVE A DERIMENTAL INFLUENCE ON THE QUALITY AND EFFICACY OF THE MESSAGES BEING RECEIVED.

James Padgett was especially selected for the work of receiving Divine messages, as expressed by Jesus and the Celestial Spirits in his writings and much time had care had been taken to look for another after the efforts of Emanuel Swedenborg who was the first attempt but failed in the ability to receive the purity of message because of his own religious concepts which he held on to. Also Swedenborg was able to travel into the various levels of the Spirit World to report on his experience but this ability was not required again, although it has been expressed that much of what Swedenborg conveyed of his experiences are true.

Straight away while reading the said blog I had noticed statements which are at odds with the Padgett writings whom I naturally give great credibility to, and also a question and answer session with ”Jesus and Mary” on the Book of Revelation when it has already been called an allegory which was not even written by those accredited to have done but by the imaginations of scribes many years later, also adds an additional question mark against it.

Also at this point there was no information about Mary herself which was what was being sought. Additionally there could be a situation where the full content of Padgett’s writings were not read fully, which is understandable because there is so much content, or even not fully understood as intended, likely because they contain very deep concepts of truth which no mortal could ever have formulated, or that the person has their own deeply entrenched beliefs. The Padgett writings are very precisely written with good straight forward language.

Despite having expressed the above, I believe that the person writing these messages is sincere for the best motive, although there is a sense of superiority over Padgett and his own abilities but when he says ” it will be because sufficient inspiration and feeling has been present to do so.”it is a true reflection of how things work.

There are certain paragraphs within the blog which explain things which are true, as Jesus in the Padgett writings has expressed, and and this relates to the fact that He himself understands more now than he ever did while on Earth. So also Mary is saying that there is more to know than Padgett has written, and Jesus has also said that there will be others also who will be called to write more of the truths in the future.

All of the above, although written now, this morning, was spotted four days ago on 14th February but it was this morning that I made a further search and came across the writings from the same author, which I hadn’t expected, which contain communication with Mary Magdalen about herself,  which was what was wanted to begin with, and the relationship with Jesus which looks credible.

So had to reflect that it may be a mistake to dismiss it on the basis of the first impression, which still remains true in my opinion. Things are so convoluted, but first of all would like to show something by a person who has approached the question of the identity of Mary Magdalen on a purely academic level and displays much reasonable thought.

Who Was Mary Magdalene?

Also there is content which was contained in the TV documentary, and I have seen this approach before where a TV documentary has been based upon the writings and research of others in the public domain.

Here below, we can see a very different attitude of the author in his introduction pertaining to answers sought to questions from Mary Magdalene who is in spirit. Start from the beginning: Jesus and Mary are Soulmates. http://withmarymagdaleneandjesus.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/2/2/1122832/mj_blog_bk_1_posted.pdf

  1. The idea that Jesus has had a wife is quiet convincing in core. However details could be wrapped in the ambiguities brought by centuries passed from His time. We need to consider that for quiet a long time many descriptions of Jesus were mixed with what His enemies liked to be told.

It is not unlikely that Mary Magdalene had been red hair. The place was a frequent arena of trade, wars, and occupations by different armies and nations who would recruit or enslave soldiers and slaves from many different nations, bringing children by rape, marriage or concubines.

  2. [6] According to The Heavenly Doctrine, the Lord had opened Swedenborg’s spiritual eyes so that from then on, he could freely visit heaven and hell and talk with angels, demons and other spirits and the Last Judgment had already occurred the year before, in 1757. [7] For the last 28 years of his life, Swedenborg wrote 18 published theological works—and several more that were unpublished.

    1. Do you take an interest in Swedenborg yourself? It is interesting that his spiritual eyes were first opened in a London Pub and am sure that there is much scope for jokes to be made about that. He was a well educated and capable man especially in the field of science, among others and this is reflected in his ability to describe his experiences. Swedenborg was the forerunner of Padgett for the same purpose of disseminating the truth’s of Heaven but feel that he received them in a different method via the freedom of his own spirituality bestowed upon him. There are passages in his book Heaven and Hell who’s opening words match exactly that of James Padgett in the True Gospel Revealed Anew by Jesus and one week end I was on a roll at being able to find them and document them, partly on the computer and also written down but had lost them. I have tried to find them again but without success. It was definitely guidance the first time because it was so easy to find. The most noticeable thing was how Padgett was able to stay on message from beginning to end whereas Swedenborg would begin identically word for word and then it would fizzle out and the difference was there to see by comparison. However the description of spiritual travels that Swedenborg experienced was not something that was required to be repeated but what was required was somebody who was capable of being a pure instrument to convey the deep and intricate expression of the truths accurately. I tend to look upon Swedenborg’s time period as being one of Tribulation in exactly the same way that in 1914 when Padgett began writing was the beginning of WW1. Swedenborg was during a peaceful period of almost continuous wars in Europe which has also been recognised as a World war because of the number of Countries engaged.
